Tonight I feel like shit.

Let's see, I like to consider myself to be a straight shooter with people so you'll always no where I'm coming from. I have a sarcastic side that not everyone appreciates. I'm okay with that though as I'm not trying to take my show on the road and don't need everyone to appreciate it. I enjoy tennis even though I'm pretty bad and I take a martial arts class which I love. I enjoy going to the movies, almost any food category, blah blah blah, you must be bored by now.

I've always maintained that "good friends choose good friends", that being said I like to think that I am a good listener, supporter, and partner and hope to find the same in a gentleman who also sports enthusiasm for life, the outdoors, getting into shape, seeing the world and smiling together.

I'm about 6'ft I Loved to play hockey but I replaced my hobbies with Mixed Martial arts under the trainings of Julio Rivera he was a old student of one Gracie for some BJJ and also take multiple classes in Muay Thai, Kick Boxing, Boxing, Wrestling, and I love to train and spar, chill with friends, and meeting new people. My main philosophy is to Live Life to the fullest because we never know when our time is up and if that is so who says we get a second chance so do everything you can do Now!

Some people need oxygen, food, alcohol, or another particular soporific of choice. But, while I use all those above, and more, please give me more of anything that fires more synapses, and harder. I need endorphins, ideas, connective links, crossed field splines, even if they are somewhat crossed purposed. I want to push everything until it falls over, to understand it. In college, the Comparative Literature courses all had a four character descriptor, that aside from being mildly suggestive in a sexual sort of way, I always found more highly suggestive in some vaguer allegorical, metaphorical, lexicographic way. Maybe that's my synesthesia kicking in. One more example where I transform from "What were they thinking?" to "What am I thinking?" And sometimes back again.

There is some deeply theoretical Mathematics that says to classify everything by the way it transforms, the way it behaves as it changes. I immediately think, well people too. Analyzing gray areas is not only fun, it is expected of us. Mere Classification is not Science, but it gives us markers to proceed. Change is good; I want to change myself to achieve some sort of transcendental harmony though, not change my perceptions so that everything is less--problematic. This is about as close as I come to a philosophical rant.

I have a deep need to believe, but pickings are slim. A true belief will not be shaken. I want a faith where you die (theoretically,) find there is no Heaven, no Hell, come back,and still believe. That seems to conflict with my comments on self-deceptive perceptions.

In general, I like dogs a bit more than I like people.

After finishing this, I'm noting that there is nothing physically descriptive here at all.

I am a very unique person. I am outgoing, I love to be creative and try new things. I have been thru a lot more life experiences then people my age, which I believe has made me a stronger and better person. I love singing along with my music in the car like a madman, but if there are lots of people around or other people in the car, i tend to keep my voice a bit lower so i don't look like a COMPLETE nutjob. (hehe, little do they know...)

Music is a huge part of my personal style, but my style doesn't depend on the music. I went to an R.E.M. concert a while back, but I was more excited when i found out that Modest Mouse and The National were opening for them. I went to see Kings of Leon in Concert @ the IZOD Center back in September and it was excellent!! I went to see The Mars Volta a few months ago on a Thursday, and it was such a good show that i skipped my Saturday night plans to take a trip down to Philly to see them again! Then i got back from the concert and STILL got out to meet my friends that i had the initial plans with! It was a good night.

I'm a big fan of going waterskiing and tubing behind my parents' boat. I'm thinking of planning a river rafting trip for next summer, because it's been a few years since my friends and I have gotten to do that. A few friends and I go hiking, camping, and indoor rock climbing together in all seasons as often we can all coordinate our schedules. Half the time, while we're hiking, we're chasing my friend's dog Dale through the bushes while he chases deer and chipmunks... Yeah, after that we put him back on the leash for a while.

I went on a solo trip to Europe last February for 10 days...and visited 3 cities in 3 countries! I got to Dublin, Edinburgh, and Amsterdam.... I totally wanna live in Edinburgh...such an amazing city. It was a short amount of time to cram all the travel in... but it was totally worth the running here and there to see everything!

I'm a big Karaoke fan....i'm lucky enough to have landed a job working as a karaoke host a few times a month. Even if i'm not hosting, i typically go out to bars to sing at least once or twice a week. Don't knock it unless you have the guts to try it! It's a blast!

I'm definitely not your average guy. I hate most sports, I suck at video games, I don't lift weights, and I know nothing about cars. But I like being out of the ordinary. So what am I all about? Well for starters, I work as a dance instructor, and I love it. Dancing has been a huge part of my life for years. I especially love the tango and salsa. I'd rather go to a Latin dance club than to some crowded bar full of biddies and bros. I guess that's part of why I'm giving this site a try, because the bars I've been to in Westchester don't seem to attract my type of people, and it would be nice to meet someone who actually shares some common ground. I don't know what this will lead to, but life is constantly surprising me, so I'm optimistic and open to all possibilities.
